Due to Covid-19, there was no external data due to SATs in Year 2 and 6 being cancelled. Below you will find the school’s achievements for the academic year in 2018/2019.

There were a huge number of success stories within the academic results and children showed excellent progress across the school.

Early Years Foundation Stage
In 2019, 86% of our children achieved a ‘good level of development.’ This is higher than the national average of 72% and the local authority average of 77%.
Year 1 Phonics Assessment
In 2019, 90% of our children passed the Year 1 phonics assessment. This was above the national average of 80% and the local authority average of 82%.
KS1 SATS assessment
Year 2 children are assessed at maths, writing and reading.

Working at the expected standard : 80% of children (75% national average, 80% local authority average)

Year 6 children are assessed in reading, writing, maths and grammar, punctuation and spelling.

Scaled Scores
When completing KS2 SATs at the end of Year 6, all children are given a scaled score to show how they have attained in the assessments. A score of 100 represents the national standard.

Progress from KS1 to KS2
Children’s progress from KS1 to KS2 is calculated through a points system. A points score of 0 shows ‘average’ progress across the key stage.
Maths : +1.1 (-0.4 Local Authority average progress)
